Be my Angel
Here is my new pattern “Be my Angel” – just in time such that we all can get our own pair of wings for the holidays!
When I got this yarn with its silky green-golden shimmer (Wollfaktor “Luna”, dyed by the very talented Michaela), I just knew it had to become a pair of angel wings: ”Be my Angel“ is knit entirely in garter stitch and will feel like a warm, loving hug and look beautiful in any soft, variegated yarn.
Due to its special symmetric shape there are several nice ways to wear this: over the shoulders or wrapped multiple times around your neck. And when you put it on, you will always have that little moment when you spread the wings and pretend you are an angel that is about to take off to do good things for the people in this world! It also makes a great gift for anyone who you want to feel protected and loved by a handmade angel hug. The knitting is logical, simple and relaxing and suitable for beginners or advanced knitters who enjoy a little comfort knitting.
The pattern includes instructions how to adapt it to the available amount of yarn. I knit this tiny version for my daughter, using just 21 grams of yarn:

I was searching Ravelry and already has “Hitchhiker” in my favorites. I looked at your web site and saw ” Be My Angel”. It was my mother talking it me! The 23rd Nov 2013 is the 10 anniversary of her going to heaven and becoming an Angel! I will defiantly be getting this pattern! I love all your designs! Thank you for sharing your talent!
