X-Mas-Break
Liebe Strickerinnen,
ich danke Euch für das großartige Jahr, das ich als Strickdesignerin mit Euch erleben durfte! Ich hoffe, Ihr hattet genau so viel Spaß wie ich.
Heute beginnen bei uns die Schulferien, und ich verabschiede mich in die Weihnachtspause. Ich bitte um Verständnis, dass ich E-mails und Anfragen erst wieder im neuen Jahr beantworten kann. Meine beiden Kinder sind rund um die Uhr zuhause und wir planen ein großes Familienfest, so dass ich einfach keine Zeit haben werde, um am Rechner zu sitzen.
Bis dahin frohe Festtage – und natürlich frohes Stricken wünscht

thank you so much for this great year we had together. I hope you had as much fun as I did!
Our school vacation began today, so I must sign off for a little Holiday break. Both kids will be at home and we have a big familiy celebration, so I will not be able to answer your E-mails and requests until the new year begins – I hope you understand!

Dear Martina,
I had to let you know about the positive comments I’ve received recently from my step-daughter. I knitted Peptita for her second daughter, born at the beginning of September. Polly was born with dislocated hips, and has spent the last 4 months in various different splints to hold her hips in place. Because I knitted the 6th month size, Polly has been able to wear Pepita over her splints as there’s plenty of room. The consultant at the hospital was very impressed with them – they kept Polly warm, but they didn’t restrict her legs. My step-daughter tells me that they will have another life in the months to come when Polly really is the right size to wear them.
Thank you for such a lovely pattern – something I really enjoyed knitting, and a pattern that has had such unexpected benefits.
