Tja, dem Problem aus dem letzten Post hab ich immer noch nicht gelöst und statt dessen einfach noch eine Mütze angefangen, diesmal wenigstens passend zu meinen dunkelroten Fetchings, weil ich von der Wolle noch ein Knäuel übrig hatte. Das Gute daran: Ich stricke sie nach einem Mützen-Universal-Muster, das ich auf Ravelry gefunden habe und echt gut finde, siehe hier. Es kostet nichts und man kann einfach anfangen, Maschenprobe ist wurscht, und es kommt was Passendes dabei raus – das finde ich bei Mützen sonst echt immer etwas schwierig. Ich hab mehr als eine von unten angefangen, die dann am Ende nicht passte, geribbelt werden musste und neu gestrickt, daher hab ich mich mit Mützen eher zurückgehalten. Aber mit diesem Rezept kann es jetzt nochmal so richtig rund gehen, bevor der Winter kommt… Aber halt: Wie war das noch mit den passenden Schals?

Well, the problem I had in my last post is still not solved. Instead, I have cast on another hat, this time matching my pair of Fetchings because I had a skein of the yarn left (and there is just no way a skein of Wollmeise Molly in a gorgeous dark red will remain un-knitted in my stash!). I have found the best make-your-own-hat-pattern ever on Ravelry (have a  look here). You don’t need a swatch, gauge doesn’t matter, you just need to know your head circumference an can start right away and you’re guaranteed to end up with a hat that fits. Plus: it’s free! I have not been a hat enthusiast because I made a couple of bottom-up hat attempts that failed spectacularly, had to be frogged an re-knit and left me pretty frustrated. But with this recipe, lots of hats could be rolling off my needles before winter starts… But wait! What about matching scarves???
