Warum man in letzter Zeit von mir nix hört und sieht? Ganz einfach:

Ein Frühlingsprojekt aus Lollipop Yarns Bluefaced Leicester in „Hot Lollipop“. Bin schwer begeistert von dem Garn und kann es gar nicht abwarten, das Teil endlich fertig zu stricken und zu spannen! Denn man weiß ja: Was beim Stricken viele Löcher hat, sieht meistens krumm und schief und nicht so richtig attraktiv aus. Aber ein kleines Wellness-Bad in lauwarmem Wasser, vorsichtiges Einkuscheln in ein gleichfarbiges Handtuch (könnte ja abfärben…), stundenlanges Gefrickel mit Stecknadeln auf einer unschuldigen Matratze und dann hat man nach einigen Stunden etwas atemberaubend Wunderschönes. Das wird dann hoffentlich bei diesem Teilchen hier auch so sein.

Why have I been so silent during the last couple of weeks? Well, the answer is this: A spring project using Lollipop yarns Bluefaced Leicester, colorway „Hot Lollipop“. Love the yarn and can’t wait to finish knitting and blocking it! Because it’s always amazing how blocking transformes knitted lace. It starts out as something crumply, biased and not-so-attractive. Then it takes a little bath, wants to be carefully wrapped into a soft towel (of the same color – just in case it bleeds…), needs to be pinned down meticulously and dry for a couple of hours. After that, your little knitting full of holes becomes a little miracle. That’s what I hope for with this one, too.
