Mein Name ist Martina Behm, ich bin Jahrgang 74 und ich stricke, weil ich gerne etwas er-schaffe. Und gern Wolle in den Händen habe! Das war schon immer so, schon in der Grundschule. Und auch während meines VWL-Studiums und meiner Zeit als Journalistin hat mich das Stricken nie losgelassen.

Meine Strickanleitungen möchte ich so gestalten, dass sowohl das Stricken als auch das Tragen Spaß macht – möglichst einfach, entspannend und ohne linke Maschen.

My name is Martina Behm. I was born in 1974 and I knit because I love to create. And I love to have yarn in my hands! Knitting has been my constant companion since elementary school. I knit in College when I was supposed to study econometrics, and I knit in my free time during my years as a journalist.

I try to design my knitting patterns such that not only the finished object, but also the project itself is fun and pleasant – I love easy, mindless projects with very few purl stitches.
