Wrap & Warm

Endlich eine Strickjacke!
Wrap & Warm wird nahezu komplett nahtlos in Runden gestrickt: Es gibt keine Rückreihen mit linken Maschen, keine Nähte, keine komplizierten Anschläge, keine verkürzten Reihen. Eine ausgesprochen gemütliche Strickjacke, sowohl beim Stricken als auch beim Tragen.

Alles kann während des Strickens an deine Vorlieben und deine Körpermaße angepasst werden: Die Weite der Ärmelbündchen und damit einhergehend auch die Weite der Ärmel, Ärmellänge, Länge der Jacke und Breite der Kanten bzw. des Kragens. Das abgebildete Modell ist ca. Größe M und ich habe 400 g der wunderschönen Cheeky Merino Joy von Rosy Green Wool verstrickt.

Dieses Garn ist nicht nur superweich, sondern auch tier- und umweltfreundlich hergestellt und trägt das GOTS-Zertifikat. Die „Melange“-Variante sieht etwas rustikaler aus, ist aber ganz genau so weich. Finde deine Lieblingsfarbe im Strickmich! Shop!

It’s a cardigan! Wrap & Warm is knit seamlessly in the round, so there are no long rows of purl stitches. Also: very few stitches to cast on, no special cast-on techniques, no short rows, no seaming. A very relaxing project both while knitting and while wearing it!

You can adapt everything to your preferences and body measurements on the go: the width of the cuffs (which sort of determines the width of the sleeves), sleeve length, length of the overall cardigan plus width of the edges. The sample shown in the pictures is a size M and I used up 400 g of the beautiful Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy yarn, which is one of my favorites.

Cheeky Merino Joy is not only extremely soft, it also comes in lots of beautiful colors, is superwash, mulesing-free, animal- and environmentally friendly produced and GOTS certified. The „Melange“ variant has an interesting, slightly more rustic look to it without forgoing any of the softness. Find your favorite color in Strickmich! Shop!
