Traumstrand

Die leuchtend-fröhliche Farbkombination, die Färberin Maike von Skudderia für die erste Strickmich! Club-Lie- ferung 2019 zusammengestellt hat, hat mich sofort an Bilder vom türkisblauen Südseemeer und knallgrünen Palmen am weißen Sandstrand erinnert – da war es doch klar, dass das Tuch daraus „Traumstrand“ heißen muss!

Traumstrand ist ein Ozean aus entspannendem kraus-rechts in strah- lendem Türkis kombiniert mit einem klassischen Spitzenmuster, das in der Struktur Palmblättern ähnelt. Das Ergebnis ist ein nahezu symmetrisches Tuch in einer neuen Form mit zwei Ecken, das dich beim Tragen hoffentlich jedes Mal in Gedanken an deinen Traumstrand entführen wird.

Diese Anleitung war nach ihrem Erscheinen für sechs Monate exklusiv den Mitgliedern des Strickmich! Club vorbehalten. Der Strickmich! When I saw the beautiful color combination that our dyer Maike (Skudderia) suggested for the first Strick- mich! Club shipment of 2019, it immediately made me think of shimmering waters, surrounded by bright green palm trees on a sandy and sunny beach – a “Traumstrand” (German: dream beach) indeed!

So my design became a relaxing, beautiful ocean of garter stitch in a vibrant teal combined with a simple and classic lace pattern reminiscent of the structure of palm leaves in spring green. The result is a fairly symmetric shawl in a new shape with two tips that will have you dream of days at the beach every time you wear it!

This pattern was exclusive to members of Strickmich! Club during the first 6 months after its publication. Strickmich! Club is a subscription for for new patterns by me (Martina Behm) plus matching, exclusively dyed yarn that will never be available anywhere else in this color. Sign-ups for Strickmich! Club will start in November 2019 for 2020.
