Stairs & Stripes

The first pattern of Strickmich! Club 2024 is here!
Let your creativity shine with “Stairs & Stripes” and make a truly unique shawl! Use five or more different colors, like the ones in a set of “Fino Minis” by Manos del Uruguay. You will knit fun stripes that change color at a spot chosen by yourself. You decide which colors to use – and where the color changes happen. Everything holds up nicely as you are using the intarsia technique – I have shot a video to show you how it works (link to Vimeo). It’s fun and easy! Also, there is a simple technique for weaving in theyarn ends as you go (link to Vimeo).

I made my version of “Stairs & Stripes” with the fun color combo “Josephine”. If you would like your shawl to look a little more toned-down, choose the color combinations
“Clarissa” or “Henrietta” – they are all available in Strickmich!
